Along with meeting Umit bey we also picked up another couple of 60,000mAh powerbanks. One is going onwards from me but the two remaining will keep Casa De in both Turkey & Scotland in good nick going forward when the power trips. Please ignore the vast amount of power storage already in place at Casa De Scottish branch.

SWMBO & were down in local Migros supermarket this morning. They have a bit of middle aisle type deal going on. Spotted this miniature usb table lamp. £6.50, has three settings and is excellent. Also has onboard storage. Joeboy's Turkish Casa De takes another small step forward in grid independence! :)

As someone who had a busy working tech office, don't ever make that fella clear up, ..he'll lose directional awareness of everything.😉

All my coffeestains were at least 12 months old.. "busy" 90 hr weeks.

At the risk of becoming the local low voltage light geek I have one more small confession. While knocking about outside Migros I found a led camping lamp. AA batteries of which I have a load of rechargeable one's. It has two lamps on it.
A 3W 86 lumen General illumination and a 1W 60 lumen tightbeam traditional flashlight. So much so normal yeah?

Price was 34.5TL each, that's £1.54 each, how is that possible? I bought 8 for friends & family. :)

Breakfast in Aiyden, there was lentil soup to start. Beautiful days continue here with suntan possible 09.00 to 16.00hrs.

SWMBO under the laser today so I'm staying with her at clinic. Also giving thought to applying for residency to negate the 90 day rule. ;)

Generations of folk need to leave the "hippy food" associations alone & enjoy lentils like the french do!
Green or orange split lentils?
What was it flavoured with joe garlic & pepper?

I could be convinced to eat lentils for breakfast in a cafe with some decent bread thrown in.

Green here & India for a Dahl. Here in the soup we use red dried chilli flakes liberally sprinkled and lemon juice squeezed fresh with a basket of fresh sliced ekmek (bread).

Nowt wrong with Lentils - having lentil (red) soup made with stock from the Christmas Ham.

Not just Lentils we should increase in our diet - any of the legumes/pulses should form part of a healthy diet. Great way of getting veg protein too.

May have posted before, but there’s a company that supports UK, mainly organic, farmers producing a variety of pulses and grains -

https://hodmedods.co.uk/

We’ve used, and will continue to use, quite a few of their products - local shop stocks them.
