Nice (free) Day Out in the EV

#1

Post by nowty »

My brother came to visit and wanted to visit Lewes (about 65 miles away) where I have been many times for the crazy Nov 5th fireworks parade, if you've never been its an unbelievable experience. I suggested we took the EV and left the dirty diesel for SWMBO for her short commute.

It was 100% all solar charged when we set off, and was about 40% left when we arrived at the free Tesco Podpoint charger, just a short walk from the centre of Lewes. Tesco have a limit of 3 hours parking so we did a 2h 49m stay and had a nice long walk around. Battery back to 80% as we left and was about 20% when we arrived back home and between charging yesterday evening from the Solar PV and Solar charged home battery and more Solar PV this afternoon its back to 90% and home battery is full too, and so is the hot water.
