Off to Turkey tomorrow with No1 son to see if he is a candidate for lens replacement surgery. Fingers crossed, he'll be a go-er.

Crap last couple of weeks, had a terminal illness suicide in the family and then a car crash last night (nobody hurt in the crash).

Looking forward to getting on that plane tomorrow and going RE picture hunting in Turkey, kicking back & sit and stare as the waves come in.

Booked for a 3pm Xmas dinner in the village then.off up to Aiyden for tests & consultation with the eye surgeon on Boxing day.

Sorry to hear that joe, when someone close has a terminal illness you know there will be no happy ending and I hope their situation was seen as a form of release.

We have to look forward to some good stuff now and again so enjoy the sun as I am. Its not just for solar panels

What sort of temps have you got there? I'm hoping for about 22 degs and much chair lizard with book.

I'm all for choice in that scenario, brave person, between a rock & a hard place, hope they primed family & friends in good time to lessen the shock inevitably encountered by all.
