How lucky he has decent kit, practical knowledge & ice fishing quilted tent, as well as being a natural introvert, hopefully taking less of a mental kicking as a result.
Wonder if he'll do an underground bolt hole if he faces hobsons choice with the war footing spinning onward, might be safer & offer less & more comfort. stress, ..seems capable, hope he picked the location due to lack of permafrost.
