Well not quite, but a weather thread that was a steady feature at st elsewhere seems peculiar by any other name.
Joe's early morning snow from a few nights back finally (unusually) reached us yesterday, at time of writing we have had 24hrs of slow trickling snow, settling everywhere bar paths & roads.
Just hovering above freezing for that time, & 5c in the conservatory (the atypical snow blanket temp)
it took 24 hrs to spread from 6 miles up the road but got here in the end, so I imagine east anglia is now adding pressure on the energy system.
Wind curently ticking over, producing more than nuclear (11.am) so i'm happy about that.
Wife on day off, so downstairs heating is where it normally is & living room is an ok 16.7c with background heating.
It's defiitely a gridwatching kind of day eh!?
Don't forget to feed & water the birds.
