long spaghetti

Anyone else remember this? In blue paper wrapping.
I guessed it was so that if you had a pot of boiling water the right size for your batch then the water wasn't chilled unduly by the amount you were putting in... (grams per cm immersed, or whatever.)

Yes, the paper worked just fine.

Why the frick did they "need" to change it?

A bit less plastic in a plastic filled world.

A time of kids & spaghetti with cheddar cheese & ketchup :lol: ..we were definitely produce of an era of the pineapple stick hedgehog
