Its a tad blowy

Well down here on the north cornwall coast its a little more blowy than usual. Had to give up the morning dog walk as we physically couldnt move forwards i to the wind, and the dog seem to be enjoying himself too much.
Nice big panels are flexing and bowing in the high winds, the brackets and rails are still holding them onto the roof, not pleasent to see those sheets of glass doing that so have decided not to look anymore. I did contemplate having a third rail added for them when they were put up and wish i had now. Generating nicely though, which makes a change of late.
Some absolutely monster big tall waves as far as the eye can see, biggest ive seen since living down these parts, but surprisingly little damage nearby. MrsResy has lost a piece of polycarb from her greenhouse roof, now replaced with a bit of 4mm ply. The next door neighbour has faired worse and lost two roof tiles and has also kindly donated my garden two full lengths of cement cladding board from his newly installed dormer window, ow smashed on my lawn.
Neighbour the other side not happy his yesterday installed dovecoat a top a 3" wooden post has been destroyed after the post snapped, and he now owns half a dozen wheely bins that have travelled down the cul de sac to visit him and spew there contents all over his drive.
Apparantly in the town a partly constructed 4 storey block of flats under construction is at risk of the scaffolding coming down, Police and Fire brigade monitoring that, so off for a look after a nice cuppa.
Hope all you guys are fairing well? Am thinking of Moxi's new bin store roof and its life expectancy chances - supposed to be properly windy up there.
