Does the Camelot-Forum have a bar? or cafe? a quiet space to hang out, and generally discuss whatever's on our minds?

Welcome - what's your tipple of choice?!

As mentioned, we love a wide-ranging chat on here, just avoid the two foghorn issues of religion and politics. That's for everyone's sanity.

I don't keep them Moxi, I just photograph them, and spend long evenings trying (and often failing) to id them. I'm sometimes tempted to get a pet jumping spider so it can pose for me and I can hone my photographic skills, but can't quite convince myself it's ethical, for a number of reasons. Jumping spiders are darn cute though :cat-love:

This is Fat Albert, he showed up on our latest insulated wall the other night. Always a good sign of a dry environment 👌

To scale (he's posing in the middle).

Not brilliant photos but this is queenie my alpha female Peruvian black beauty stick insect. She’s just over three inch’s long from the tips of her antenna to tip of her tail and about 3 grams in weight. She’s second generation and I am collecting her eggs to try to get generation three.

I had donated two females and three males to a local tourist attraction for their collection as their population had died off but last time I went to see them they had all died and been replaced so I just try my own little bit of conservation for these red listed species of stick insect.
