Just noticed that Nuclear output is shown as 6.47GW according to gridwatch, but when I look at the EDF site it only appears to be 6GW - any idea why?

Perhaps the EDF site hasn't fully updated - sounds like that's the difference between one generator being on or off?
I'd assume Gridwatch is the actual generation figure as it's live data.
Also that's pretty high for the UK nuclear fleet based upon how they've been performing in the last year or so!

Could the higher be gross output of the actual turbines/generators (good for PR) and the other be net, i.e. what is exported to the grid?

I added up all the reactor outputs and got 6.32GW but that was a snapshot at 13:00 today.
Gridwatch currently shows 6.57GW.
I think its probably due to Heysham 2 Reactor 7 ramping up after an off load refuelling.
Good to see one of Hartlepool's reactors finally back online too, along with Heysham 2.
But its goodbye to Hunterston B reactor 3 forever and reactor 4 is being shutdown forever next month.
