PEAK WASTE: Lidl travel mug with NON replaceable battery

Ethically TRASH.
In this day, age & environmenta concerns ...c'mon.
Will lodge a complaint for producing hard to recover dross with a limited working life.

If some dummy has included ‘replaceable’ instead of ‘rechargeable’, it might be OK. Ottherwise, dead right about it being unethical in this day and age.

But who needs a temperature display on a mug anyway? Mad idea. Just because it can be done doesn't mean it should be...

Non-replaceable, and non-rechargeable (although it may well be a rechargeable pack just without any charging circuitry as in some other products) lithium battery.
Question:
What batteries just a lid take?
Answer:
The lid of our Insulated Water Bottle is CNC machined and integrated. We have increased the battery capacity which is up to 2-3 years to ensure the service life of the Vacuum Drink Flask (one-year product warranty provided). It is durable but it cannot be removed and the battery cannot be replaced.
Elsewhere on the page:
Stop using disposable plastic bottles.
and use disposable stainless steel ones with integrated electronics instead...
