19.2kWh yesterday. Best day YTD. Expecting to do better today…

16.1 here, could have been slightly better but I was out this afternoon doing this

So I couldn’t move the mobile around to maximise it

Two whole days now at Nowty Towers, without any import apart from SWMBO inverter unfriendly steam iron.

Also, two 60 degree washing loads today which I was not even given any veto power over. ;)

And a near perfect bell shape of generation which is a composite of 3 systems. 8-)

And also a near perfect rectangle shape on WT1.

20.7kWh for me yesterday, best day of the YTD and first 20kWh day! Managed 2x loads through the washer and drier while the sun was shining out some power into the car and batteries still only down to 53% by the time the cheap electric started. Batteries are charged to 80% expecting similar today.

Image

Nice curve with some points of interest:
- The dip at 0843 was caused by a cloud.
- The general choppiness seems to be caused by system 2 cutting in and out, I’m unsure what could be causing this, if it is a concern, or what to do about it.
- The dip between 1238-1258 was definitely not caused by a cloud. I’m not sure what caused it but it seems to have coincided with the batteries becoming full.

I have similar with Victron 2nd system. Its easy to max out battery stack and the Victron switches off. Instead I chuck a load of power into the EV or HWT once the go faster window closes. This morning for example the stack was down to 42%. I'm now slow charging the car and letting the stack creep up. By the end of day I'll have taken care of business and stack will be 80%+

If you are seeing a system dropping in and out regular it could be your bms kicking in to protect batteries? I wonder what your combined incoming Wattage is at these moments? I don't go on the graphs as i've seen larger inputs than the graphs show so maybe you are having realtime spikes of solar?

I had a similar intermittent cutting in and out last year. In the end I went on the assumption that it was the battery BMS so I swapped a couple of batteries around and no problem since. On my system I have no access to bms data so was flying blind, worked out ok and the Victron is now horsing 2.2kWh into the stack while the Solaredge matches it.

Going forward I will be keeping an eye on what the goodwe hybrid inverter does with the solar edge power when we hit true Summer stride. I may hit a point where the BMS is kicking in to throttle back the potential 9kW incoming flow. If this happens i'll be throwing everything I can into the HWT and EV to keep the batteries open and also charging.

A very handy moment of 5.6kW coming in from the PV. Charging car, HWT and doing some solar powered logsplitting. Pretty spectacular day!, 8-)

Another very tidy 16.65kWh under the belt today and a beautiful day all around, similar weather forecast tomorrow for us too which is brilliant.

Nice one Moxi, we are looking grid free thru to Friday at earliest. :) Enjoy the days!
