Pylontech batteries.

I’ve just heard that prices are going up 15% with immediate effect. If you need some and you can find a supplier with stock, buy now!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

I bought US3000C batteries across two orders in Feb/March (all of which have been delivered) - lead time was generally a month and I paid £1058 (inc VAT) a unit.

They are currently £1248 (inc VAT) and lead time is now between 3 and 4 months from the supplier I used.

Pretty glad I managed to get them when I did!

It will be interesting to see what the prices are in a year or two

I bought one lot from Segen direct, I had a trade account but had a big falling out with them as they refused to give me my extra prepayment discount because it was 15mins late- their error because they allocated the wrong delivery date. I closed my account immediately. My next lot I bought from a supplier that I have used before and they were cheaper than Segen. Just under £1000 inc vat for US3000C's.

I've come across this before with Rolls batteries, where I got a cheaper price from someone else but then they came from Barden direct.

When I bought mine the price had been falling gradually for some time. It was expected by everyone that the price would continue to fall. It is clear that a shift has occurred. Not just in battery prices...

Without intending to be alarmist: a storm is coming my friends!
