I think we're lucky in the UK. Our temperate island will grow different crops but will still be inhabitable. Many Mediterranean or North African countries will simply become uninhabitable.
I wouldn't put any money on the UK staying fit for farming. We could end up with a climate like Greenland or Iceland today (or the N Canadian coast where the only thing that kept the original population alive was a diet of whale blubber.)
If energy was free and came with no climate costs you might be able to continue living here, but I wouldn't even bet on that - especially if not making atmospheric CO2 any worse was accepted as an international treaty obligation.
Solar & wind power driving geothermal energy and heat pumps might work, but I doubt it.

Hear hear,
population displacement I think is the biggie, that alone will ensure even if climate armagedon is regional the ramifications will be global.
I fear we are headed towards a big dieback within some of our lifetimes. God knows what the next couple of generations do.
Nowty,
Now have my glacial procesing popping up the idea of the Scottish interest free EV loan over 6 years... I wonder where my nearest aTesla dealer is? Would look swank with Ripple WT sticker on it...
The idea of down to Edinburgh and back to see daughter on a single clean charge is quite appealing to say the least.
15kW PV SE, VI, HM, EN
42kWh LFPO4 storage
73kWh V2H EV
7kW ASHP
200ltr HWT.
3G
Deep insulation, air leak ct'd home
WBSx2
Low energy bulbs
Veg patches & fruit
Tesla don't have dealers - they have regional service centres, and a couple of "stores" where you can go poke around in one - just buy it online like you would anything else!
There are 3x Tesla stores in Scotland:
Aberdeen
Wellington Circle
AB12 3JG
Edinburgh
23 Cliftonhall Road
EH28 8PW
Glasgow
20 Kennedy Street
G4 0EB
Tesla Model 3 Performance
Oversees an 11kWp solar array at work
We'll go have a look in Aberdeen when we get back home. Last thing I bought on interest free was a washing machine about 25 years ago! Games changed a bit, manage to run up to 50k without trying on build a model 3. That 360 mile range is seductive.

We are feeling distinctly unfashionable with all you DualMoter'ers ..it's like only having one nutsack at a swingers party (that i've definitely never been to)
Might have to change the 3's name from"parker" to "Monorchid"

Oh yes, you lucky people north of the border have this 0% opportunity. I have managed with just a few clicks online to borrow £20k at 3.4% over 8 years from my bank and they were ok with me being "retired", although I'm officially either "unemployed" or a "homemaker" as I cant get my pension just yet.
And another £11k on a credit card for 3 years at 3.9% and no questions where asked at all.
Both interest rates are lower than my tax free dividend income from either my ISA or VCT so was cheaper borrowing than selling stuff.
19.6kW PV > 114MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 34MWh generated

Don't worry. My iD4, when it comes, will be a lowly "single motor" variant. Couldn't justify the extra for the GTX!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
Well, they fit false testicles to dogs that have had theirs removed right!?
