Euro mini tour

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

He came to see me about a course in solar panels on standalone bike shelters, but they wanted to know the whole science and what was practically possibly for recharging the bikes from Solar panels. Lots of back of the envelope realistic deigns on standard large PV panels and outputs, charging systems etc, bike shelter charging station sizes etc.
Should be dead easy and cheap to install in villages . without even rip out the the historical pavement , that half of a kWh per charge per bike seems a no brainer , sure on new years eve critics might say one cannot depend on renewables

We saw two solarparks? Today. Hgv's and vehicles parked under the canopies. Maybe 500+ panels per canopy. 3 or 4 canopies per site.

Some serious power generation going on there, easily enough to help out a plethora of E bikes , great to see.

Hi Joeboy and Hi Mrs Joeboy.

Good to see you both and hopefully you had a reasonable visit and i did not bore you two much?

Thank you for the Chocalate Muffin, one down.

Sorry you did not have more time for a cuppa and a swim in the salt heated ECO pool.

I also forgot to give you those two books of mine.

Regards the walled garden we have and built. Forgot to mention that as we are so rural and very farming area, we obtain most of our fresh food stuff from very local sorces. And its not expensive here, but then thats the way France is.

Nice to see you both and take care.

Best, Leslie,

Hi Leslie, Catherine & I had an absolutely great time. Lovely to meet you and sorry it was so short a visit. We will be back in the area. You are truly living the dream off your own back, skills & knowledge. Mightily impressive. SWMBO spent the time after driving away and on our way to Falaise telling me I should add a inline thermosiphon heater to our hot tub to utilise the excess power 🔋 😳. Some girl, her words, some day!

Well actually... I will post a photo tomorrow! We may have misunderstood the new rules. Stuck in a deadlock North of Windsor. :(
