True, but even with 5, actually 6, good days near the start of this month we have only just exceeded the output of the 3 weeks it was running in March.
Roll on a windy winter!
A
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

Indeed, I have just enjoying the idea of VB being trickle charged while I sitting in the sun in France. It is a quite groovy idea. :) Obviously I'd rather it was cranking to the max.

Midday today-16.2mph at GF with 23.6mph due at Turnberry. A random time picked. I know what I'm looking forward too! Eight of those bad boys working in the Ayrshire breeze. :)

I have just looked at my Octopus account (I usually only log in to submit readings) and found a new feature:
Image
Now I think my account will be in credit all the way from May to December this year, but they have a different opinion. My max predicted is £290, while their figure is £350... I suspect that their figure doesn't allow for Ripple WT1. Strangely, their recommended monthly payment is only £1.71 more than I am currently paying, which was set taking WT1 returns into consideration...

I can't see the recommended balance line on the graph (unless it is the x-axis,) and I think they are saying I am in credit now and will be almost all the time (bar 2 half-months next March and April,) so why do they suggest increasing my payment now?

100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS
Vaillant AroTherm 10kW ASHP

Not on my account either, but its on my fathers account who is on a fixed tariff and again, obviously is not taking into account his ripple savings.

Might not be possible for folk on smart tariffs as too much uncertainty.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

It says on the first screenshot that "regular meter readings will make your forecast more accurate..." so those with a smart meter would be supplying daily meter readings so really should be able to create an even more accurate forecast for them, especially if you have been with Octopus for some time.

You can't use the Octopus tool yet if you're on a smart tariff, don't pay by monthly direct debit or have switched tariffs recently.
