Lost art these days. Not too difficult, slide heatshrink over one side, apply loads of flux to both ends, apply loads of heat and solder quick enough to get a decent join, slide heatshrink back over the joint, apply a little bit of heat. Job done.
I can solder fine, just lazy. :D

Best day since we got back from France on the Victron was an 11kWh day four days ago. Its just going 5 o'clock this evening, clouded over and we are already at 16kWh for today, 31% improvement. :D

System was shutdown for 20 mins and I know there is a little shading from the soil vent pipe on string 5 in the morning. I'll update on end of play figure later on but it's looking very good so far! 8-)

1.3kW incoming, soc is slowly rising, a nice Eastern meal cooked and we are away down the cabin for WBS2 burn 3. Used 4 small logs last night. That was all the carbon use of the day. Ah July, when the borders are infinite and we could roll forever!

Burn :o

We really do have different climates top and bottom of our country don't we.

The only way I can make my shed warmer is set fire to it.

I just took these two pics at 7:15pm.

Ah mate, it's not even similar! You are about 600 miles South of me? I feel the difference in 100 mile jumps.

In saying that, the burn tonight is for the craick mostly. Enjoy the A/C! :D
P.S sun just came out and we are generating 2.2kW at 19.30 hrs. It's all going in one place.

Will do one day as SWMBO loves Scotland, pre-pandemic we went to the Fringe in Edinburgh and the Tattoo (it was pretty chilly), then onto Inverness because I wanted to see the castle that my grandfather had to lock up his nuclear truck in on his way to or from Dounreay in the 50s or 60s.

Then a boat trip on Loch Ness cos she wanted to see the monster, even as a child in South America the story was famous over there. Then down the Glencoe valley, what a picture.

I keep telling her there is always one week in spring where the weather in Scotland is fantastic, even warmer than the south and before midge season. Problem is you don't know in advance which week it will be.

We don't do midges on this coast. Although we could troop West if you feel the need? My next run will be up North to see Kinlochbervie HT.

22kW SE & 17.36kWh V
That is a 36% increase on the the Victron output over and above the best of the last one week output. That'll do.

Just realised that yesterday daily take is very close to the 41kWh PB set on 19th May this year.

Didn't expect that for July. I wonder if we'll crack 50kWh next May?
