First Polestar spotted in the wild. Big thing, not really a saloon, not really a hatchback. Looks smart though...

The Polestar 2 is actually based on the same platform as the Volvo XC40 - what Volvo/Geely/Polestar calls the CMA platform - if you look hard enough you can see that it's basically a squashed CUV.

It does look pretty smart though, particularly in brighter colours. There are a couple that live near me so I see a few on a regular basis. Have spoken to one owner and he loves it - basically didn't want to get a Tesla, which is fair enough - but he did say that his only regret is not having the Supercharger network access or charging speed...
