Is there a charge for making a G99 Fast Track application? I've tried google but can find no mention.

Not as far as I know. There was no charge for our G59 (now G99) application back in 2014.
25 off 250W Perlight solar panels, installed 2014, with a 6kW PowerOne inverter, about 6,000kWh/year generated
6 off Pylontech US3000C batteries, with a Sofar ME3000SP inverter

OK if you live in an area where WPD are the DNO, but not applicable outside any WPD area. For example, here in Dorset our DNO is SSEN, and their (slightly different) procedures are here: https://distribution.ssen.co.uk/G99Application/

People living in areas covered by UK Power Networks, Scottish Power Energy Networks, Electricity North West or Northern Powergrid will need to check the procedures that their DNO uses (they are all slightly different), and very different in terms of response.

Yup, it's an example link left their for wider general knowldge.& familiarisation.on the subject.
It should also be noted that there are companies who will file your paperwork for you for a fast track application starting from £250 (at time of writing if people seem it to be too complicated for them)

Likely there are some template examples out there for form filling.. (Bearing in mind as has been pointed out differences area to area) if people care to look.

Scottish Power Energy Networks wanted £750 for my G99 application for a Tesla Powerwall. I kicked off on twitter and had a nice man from SPEN call me, they had had a rethink and now only charge £250!
