Let's hope it is running in time to get the FITs - Sept 2022 is the cut-off and they say
The contractor has confirmed that it has the capacity available to complete construction
of the Project within the Feed-in Tariff (‘FiT’) deadline. Nevertheless, if there is a material delay in construction or the
delivery of the turbine (which is being shipped from the Czech Republic and due to be delivered in April 2022), resulting
in commissioning of the Project occurring after 30 September 2022, the Project will not qualify for the FIT which
constitutes rather more than half of its projected income.

It's Glenachulish. Always unfortunate to manage a typo in the first paragraph. I'll go an check it out next time I visit my folks. I was running up there last week, and have a fair idea where it must be going even before reading the docs (which I'll do now)

A quick update on this project - of which I am a co-operative member.

It did get up-and-running ( Autumn 2022 ), just in time to qualify for the ongoing FIT payments.

General performance : as projected, with a few months over and a few under during the year.

Some bad news : 18th Sep 2023 - a sound baffle on a manhole/inspection cover fell down into the main flow pipe - which flooded the powerhouse around 1 metre deep. Ongoing efforts to repair and get back into action - with Loss Adjusters and Insurers.

Good news : Income stream is covered by Business Interruption Insurance.

Fingers-crossed for a speedy return to full power.
4 kWp Solar PV : 50%/50% SE/SW : Solis Hybrid 3.6 : Pylontec 9.6 kWh
5 kW & 4kW Air-to-Air Mitsubishi Heat Pumps
Ripple : Graig Fatha & Kirk Hill . . . . plus various other renewable projects.
No Car : bicycles : bus & train

UPDATE by email : 23rd Jan 2024
Dear Member

Flood damage to the generation system

The Board is pleased to bring you an update on the repair work of the generator system and powerhouse following the flood event. Much has been happening since the breakdown in September 2023 and the AGM update in October.

Let’s start with the very best part of the news. We are generating again. By the end of November 2023, we were in a position to begin trials with the repaired generator. They went well and the system progressed to full power generation in December. Encouragingly, no problems have been encountered and the generation achieved (kWh) exceeded the budgeted output for the month. We are cautiously optimistic that we can now continue uninterrupted generation throughout the year.

< Edited : . . . . Some details removed . . . .by me >

Some minor work remains to be completed, but essentially the scheme is now back up and running. Long may it continue.

Regards
