Car crash solar purchase via "white gold" type salesman..

Painful viewing to anyone here, ..& there's a part two.

I'm part way through pt 1, bi-facial panels being flogged to him for a garage & house roof, (attention to that detail by the "buyer" ) should have been enough to spot the San-fran fault line in their honesty.

I'm now on ep 2 ...no idea if he ever worked out in what scenario bi-facial would have applied & that this was 100% scamtastic.

Saw this last week, and thought just how easy it is for someone clearly intelligent and pretty switched on to get potentially scammed by the sort of turds that infest the solar panel business. When researching products to buy to build into this house I had many encounters with salespeople that just lied, quite openly, about their products. One company I dealt with had a really great chap on their customer facing side, very technically knowledgable and even took the time to spend 40 minutes on the phone with me running through their accredited installer training, so I could DIY install the product and get the extended warranty. When the company found out how open and honest he was being with customers they sacked him . . .
25 off 250W Perlight solar panels, installed 2014, with a 6kW PowerOne inverter, about 6,000kWh/year generated
6 off Pylontech US3000C batteries, with a Sofar ME3000SP inverter

Honest salesman, dishonest company then!
Likely the guy was better off (we hope)

End of video 2, nothing further on the bi-facial tech to assist others not get caught out & think a bit clearer when dealing with sales folk.

Waiting to hear about solar panel patented power rejuvenation potions are on to cleaning services for them, ...watch this space / naff media such as "meta"
