I think its game over man, past the normal 6pm peak demand now, it peaked around 3pm, the highest I saw was 14.9 GW on Gridwatch and 19.2 GW on Energy Numbers.

Meaning generation curtailed ?? how would we know ?

When the line is dead flat on Gridwatch I would say it has been curtailed.

Which was pretty much from 1pm today, flat lining is similar to my system hitting my 3.68kW export limiter in Summer.

Example for my system from 11th July this year, without the curtailment, my peak generation would have hit somewhere between 7kW and 8kW.

There's a blast from the past! :D
I made a frankly astonishing 31kWh at WT1 yesterday which beautifully balanced the slim 4.5kWh generated on PV here at home. This is pretty much the best that I hoped for when imagining the outcome of a WT investment. A ying & yang type deal. 8-)

The figures it would be good to know is where and how much potential wind power was left on the table due to grid constraints?

I also wonder whether the estimated figure for embedded/unmetered wind that GridEnergyNumbers shows is still a relatively accurate proportion - there hasn't been much/any onshore wind built for a while, so does that approximate 10% number still hold true?

I noticed a couple of weeks ago or last week ? the wholesale price went negative for a while and today it has been quite a lot..
