I also wonder whether the estimated figure for embedded/unmetered wind that GridEnergyNumbers shows is still a relatively accurate proportion - there hasn't been much/any onshore wind built for a while, so does that approximate 10% number still hold true?

You can probably get a good estimate by comparing the figures here to the figures declared by national grid/crown estates.

Except that flat out seems to be at 94.33% of max output so maybe they have limited the max output to prevent shutdowns. If it runs without failure I can live with that.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

Absolutely, yesterday was a 43.45kWh day. I can easily live with that until Kirkhill comes online with its increasingly regular 25mph+ seasonal winds.

UK wind has been around 17GW for a couple of days on Energy Numbers. It’s 17.8GW now and must have saved shiploads of gas.

Highest on Gridwatch previously was 15.788 GW back in May when I think we broke the record at a peak of 19.9 GW.

On energy numbers we need a reading over 19 GW.

I did not think there was quite enough wind resource in the forecast so I was not watching it, but it looks like the actuals are higher than the forecast for a change.

And we seem to be having even higher winds now, Gridwatch now up to 15.7 GW and Energy Numbers its 18.6 GW.

On those figures with demand at 34.9GW i calculate wind is producing 53% of demand with 5.5% (of demand) being exported.
