General election & less ego stroking please!

How long before Truss says (to remind people of her prominence, ..however short lived) "When I was P.M." !?

What a faecal shower, water proofs on chaps!

1 week contest.

Means they're not going to the membership. Even the process of narrowing it down to two candidates usually takes a lot longer than a week!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Shouldn't that be a lettuce? I gather the general consensus is that the live streamed lettuce lasted longer than Liz Truss.

My gut feeling is that we can't be far away from a GE. I live in a staunchly Tory area, and even here there are mutterings that Labour would do a better job. The most probable path to an early GE would be a vote of no confidence in the government, and there may well be just enough chaos and disillusion within the parliamentary Conservative party to allow that to happen.

I believe this is what triggered Mr Gus to start this thread, she resigned just before this thread was started.

Just to add to the entertainment, it's being reported (in The Times and The Telegraph) that Boris Johnson is standing as leader again . . .

Was Truss truly so much a puppet of Shell? Looking at the frantic RE cap attempt and fracking push last night....
