Old magazines

#1

Post by dangermouse »

I've been clearing out my loft (I come from a family of hoarders) and I've found 18 editions of "Practical Electronics" magazine dating from 1988 and 1989. I thought they might be of historical interest to someone, but if not, they're getting recycled!

Must have been a midi project in there somewhere.

Maybe even a twin led Audio spectrum analyser?

Used to buy them and head off to Tandy.

When I was in infant school I used to repeatedly stare at a particular picture in a Ladybird book which was on a reading rack in the classroom about under the sea.

About 7 years ago I found a copy of the book on ebay, I'm not sure where the book is now but luckily I scanned the relevant page.

Great, obviously inspiring, pic. Not sure about the accuracy, though.

My early memory of, I think, Ladybird books was the description of fish (could even have been the same book) with minute teeth.

I never could understand (given I was 4 or 5 ) how fish could have teeth that only lasted a minute
