Re: More Octopus innovation
If its like lasts year Octopus averaged it over your past 3 month use which is a bit of a con as that's over the Summer months.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 520 m3
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 520 m3
Re: More Octopus innovation
Last year Octopus did run a couple of events in the night time too, which turned out to be quite lucrative.Oldgreybeard wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 7:34 pmIt's a bit unethical, but the way to game the system might be to charge the batteries, cook meals, run the washing machine etc during the peak rate period, before the system starts, then switch to running off the batteries as soon as the payment window opens.
