Aye, renewables and storage don't work do they.
SWMBO has helped me getting panels up, seen the insides of the battery cave and has walked up a Welsh hill in the rain to watch WT1 going round. A few weeks back she returned from work and asked me how much we paid for our energy because one of her colleagues was now paying £350 a month after it had doubled, and she wanted to know how much we save with all our panels and stuff.
I said "£1".

Had a similar conversation with a neighbour recently. They mentioned that their electricity direct debit had gone up to nearly £300 a month. I couldn't help mention that ours was £12/month, mostly covering the standing charge. They don't use electricity for heating or hot water, either, whereas we do. I've looked at our credit balance and most likely consumption through the winter and reckon that we will still be very much in credit come next spring.

Update time and as before, I have added a new category of Energy Storage.
I have spent quite some time today trawling through more members sigs and I have found quite a lot of battery storage, EVs and thermal stores, in fact doubled it.
There must be more out there so if you don't have your home batteries, EV, hot water storage or storage heaters in your sig, please PM me with simple details.
In an average year 101 Camelot members will generate 509 MWh of renewable electricity onsite and 177 MWh remotely.
Onsite Generation
PV - 465 MWh
Wind - 42 MWh
Hydro - 2 MWh
Total - 509 MWh
Remote Generation via Coop's
Ripple WT1 - 40 MWh
Ripple WT2 - 133 MWh
Hydro - 4 MWh
Total - 177 MWh
Grand Generation TOTAL - 686 MWh

OK, we have a 250L thermal store powered by the WBS and solar thermal, 250L DHW powered by solar thermal/WBS/and Gasser, 12 tonnes concrete slab with UFH powered by WBS via T/S and Solar thermal and Gasser.

Hot water = 9kWh (Sunamp UniQ phase change thermal store)
Floor slab (~8m³ concrete), heated with embedded UFH = ~5kWh on average (can be anything from around 3kWh to maybe 10kWh)

6 off Pylontech US3000C battery packs, roughly 21kWh

Electricity generation
25 off 250W solar panels (6.25kWp), limited by inverter to 6kW
Generation around 6MWh/year on average
PV self-use percentage 97.6% over the past 12 months
About 50% of the car charging has been from excess PV over the past 12 months and about 45% of the hot water storage has also been from PV over the same period.

So for example, the "secret list" entry for yourself, and it really is secret for info given to me by PMs but as OGB's clearly gone public, this is the sort of info I keep on the 101 (and growing) secret members and I update the info in my spreadsheet if I see members adding another EV or a PV extension or more ripple wind farm, etc. And for security purposes, unless I know you personally, I don't know anything about you apart from your nickname and anything you choose to publicly make known.
