How to log in to a Sunny boy inverter?

I have a sunny boy 300TL-21 inverter that is hardwire connected to my home network. This allows me to access Sunny Portal data though the sunny portal website.

Now that I'm running Home Assistant, which has an SMA integration, I'd like to pull data directly from the inverter. I've tried logging in to the inverter IP address but it doesn't give me any web page and just times out. The company that installed the system 7 years ago went out of business when all the grants dried up so I can't ask them.

Does anyone know how to access the inverter directly?

Try SMA support.
They are normally pretty good at reply to support calls.

Their data interface is pretty flaky so not sure you will get a published interface.

I've not done it but sma do have documents and software for it available on line.
