I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the difference between the various EVE/CATL/Other(?) LIFePO4 cells in the 250-350Ah size range. Particularly with regards to price/performance ratio. Also what is the difference between "Grade A" and "Grade B"?

The CATL and EVE both is the famous brand manufacturer in China and oversea
And the capacity between 250ah to 350ah
Right now the Biggest capacity prismatic cells is Gotion cells , the capacity is 340ah
280ah battery is the trend right now , especially the EVE280K with 6000 cycles

For the A grade and B grade cells
Can judge from the below
1.The battery layout , see if there is any damage or not
2.With or without QR code
3.Capacity meets or not

Maybe i will be writing on how to tell the cells grade in the near future

I will do once the actual system is in place, finances dependent and I can figure out the layout in the garage. The exchange rate is not exactly helpful right now though.

The shipping fees start at £2100 for a single cell, I thought something must be wrong on my account.

That would be one way to just stick with an off the shelf kit!

To the topic on hand, if I have a 16S battery then I need 16 of those cells, right? So is it worth ordering a 17th?
