I notice Ellie from Ripple, mentioned on the Ripple Community a day or so ago,

"..........we're looking to announce more information on Project 3 by the end of the year. We have a good pipeline of potential projects with lots of sites in mind, we're just working to ensure we choose the best project for our members. The potential risk of the electricity generator levy for Project 3 will be set out in the share offer document. We can't say any more at the moment though."

So, does that suggest Project 3 could be bigger than Kirkhill and as such be heading into the 100GWh per year territory ?

Not to me, but I seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding. How many members are there already who are in a position to increase their holding/share? I for one am up against the 120% limit so I can't take up any part of project 3 whatever it is. And I have a lot less share than you, for example. So what proportion of current members are in any position to have any interest in project 3 at all? :?

I've got it as clicked over into new territory at 1am. There may a couple of 2 decimal place rounding errors in my count though for one or two days. Defo a wohoo moment! :D

If you can up your electricity use you can go in for Proj 3? It is a sad state of affairs that many of the original investors will be excluded unless they change their slider.

but that still has to be electricity from the grid... at 36p a unit, a bit of an own goal when the ripple rate is around 9.6!

We are cracking through just under 700kWh per week to run it all and stay off gas. We have upcoming scenarios of change incl Go faster contract stopping at end of year, the fluidity of gas pricing, The next fixed contract price for WT1 in March and the choice available going forward whether Go, IO or A nother if it exists. Certainly a dynamic space! Glad we have three heating systems in place to choose from depending on the scenario presented. :ugeek:
