To be honest, never found Voltarol, considering the price, any improvement over generic Ibuprofen plus a couple of Paracetamol to get you going. Obviously, if your stomach is ok with Ibuprofen and you can take Paracetamol.

For me, if it’s localised joint pain, Tiger Balm (full strength) is the way to go. Obviously with plenty of vigorous massage of the affected joint.

(Note - I’m in no way qualified to give medical advice particularly to people I don’t know )

Pain is weird. I was neck & shoulder tiger balm for years. Then I had an elbow pain for months that tiger balm wouldn't touch and the voltarol hit the spot! Now I have both plus deep heat. That trifecta takes care of anything! :)
Apart from a hangover of course, then it's Nurofen time :D

Firm believer in what you believe in does you good (obviously within reason and not withstanding proper medical advice ).

I get a tennis elbow type pain after sustained diy bouts (worst is continued squeezing of a cartridge gun). Best thing, for me, is to really get into the elbow and press/massage whatever. Hurts while you do it, but reduces the tendonitis significantly.

As for hangovers - get out of bed, good fry, get moving ASAP. Nothing else works.

Bengay extra strength, when in canada.

Over here, "top shelf" Phorpain ibuprofen 10% the gel absorbs within a minute & won't stick your skin to clothing.
2 mg of diazepam ..followed by a 10 - 20 minute burst (build up to it) of an ultrasonic muscle treatment at bedtime.
2x paracetamol to assist next day (likely too much ultrasonic)

Useful when you have rag dolled down a steep slope on your snowboard, or strong, accumulated, sciatic nerve damage.

Hiya Nowty, hope you are feeling a bit better.

Just a suggestion for your first drive in the Tesla, set the regen to standard not low, and braking to hold, not creep, and that way you will hopefully be able to drive entirely on one pedal. You'll still need to flex up and down, but at least that'll remove the need to twist left/right to the brake pedal and back.

So long as you don't have to brake very hard, such as a traffic light changing on you at the last moment, or some minor emergency, you should get away with one-pedal. Best of luck mate.

Doesn’t ‘self-infliction’ have a far better and more sensible solution - easily avoided in the first place?

Well I went to bed an hour early and am now up and had a hearty breakfast, pretty foggy out there at the moment but I'm sure that will clear. The good news is my ankle seems 90% effective.

I already am used to the (mostly) one pedal driving with the i3, I hated it on the test drive, but within an hour I realised its much better. And the i3 only does hold and find that better than my ford focus which had quite a powerful creep.

Setting off on the walk in a few mins.

Well, I'm back already with the car plugged in and charging, I'm going out again shortly for a country drive and a pub lunch.

It went like clockwork, walk was easier than I thought, ankle started twinging half way but then got better. Bus came in 3 mins, I was initially the only passenger and only 3 others got on, walk through the port was fine and got there 15 mins early but that did not matter. Spent about half an hour looking round the car and playing with the controls. Absolutely mint condition, could not find any fault, paintwork fine, all panels lined up perfectly. Set off with a very light touch on the accelerator, till I got onto the main dock road.

Then floored it and OMG, this is insane, it hits 30 before your foot has got to the floor ! :o

Cameras calibrated after only about 5 miles, but could not use autosteer without first enabling it so drove the rest of the way home in normal autopilot but its a breeze, with the car automatically keeping the correct distance behind the vehicle in front.

Did you not strap the ankle then?

Nb, notes supercharger avoidance, what was the pick up % in the end?

Better get the wife's seat profile settings sorted now lest she use it against you with cutting phrases such as "his obsession that I'm not allowed to touch apparently" etc . .pre-emptive marital s.o.c. (Like a battery) ;)

Nowty, have you run through a video list of all the voice commands yet? ..that's worthwhile doing with a tablet in the car (with wife) ..not perfect but getting better.

Start with lady pleasers such as (steering button press) "I'm too cold"
& don't forget to set up both phones at the same time, after yesterday's problems I had to delete the app (glove box usb removed) reinstallation & set my phone key access back up.

Happy you're happy with the car, what's not to like though!? (nothing)
(I expect you are banging out that v5 plate change as we speak)
