I was looking at 100 -160w claimed output fold up hiking solar, the length was 55 inches through 85 inches length to site & set up, which is likely more horrifying a thought than a smaller perma panel which remains set up.
There is a breeze most days but not enough for a WT. I spent hours yesterday scouring the net and being honest with myself while SWMBO had her eye op and recovered (great success, she is now Bionic SWMBO). That honesty in balancing up my urge to play with PV v's knowing I dont really need to out here led me to this daftly rated wee folding panel.

It will probably output about 15W but I'll have fun seeing it do its thing. Also many thanks on the inline usb power meter, love that!
Not ordered yet but I just couldn't find a pair of say 25W rigid mono panels(so I can handcarry out in my backpack) with built in usb that I could parallel. 😔 Or even a single small rigid with usb. If anyone knows of a site, please post a link. Any other suggestions most welcome too.

Nah, didnt think turbines were in a play list.
Just curious as to the wind locally, for te slap factor / blown over if merely propped up as a concertina solar.

The link you gave is cheap but frankly dubious a claim for output as is much from china.

I'll dig out my 3 panel units & see how big they are by comparison, however i doubt any of mine are "rated" above 30w at a very similar looking length down the back as per video.

But, Turkish sun is not british sun, so ..who knows.

No problem I think they are within reach & logically stacked by the big solar.

House used 50p in gas yesterday, 3p import electricity (I wish I could null that inverter out) and made £4.56 at the WT. Battery soc is down to 68%, hoping for some rare Winter Scottish sun today to keep this going. 8-)

A bit of a water leak further down the street from us. SWMBO spotted the guys digging up the lockblock earlier today. I had no idea our water was off until it came back on and I heard the upstairs 200ltr back up water tank filling.

That was definitely worth fitting. 👌

Dropped down to 68% soc and now back up to 83% soc. This is the first excellent sign that the system is capable of a lot in the coming years. 4.18kWh.

I had no expectation of seeing any battery upswing this early on in the year. 8-)

Fraid so, unless there is magic go-go juice in turkish sunshine.

With portable solar in the uk at least folk need to understand, the output sucks as does most chinese sellers honesty & integrity, .."Ive got your cash, youve got a bag of 5h1te ..now eff off" not all, but too many!

With Turk-sol you are going to get a boost due to intensity & duration, ..I cannot comment as I don't typically do hot hols to measure, but your ammeter(s) ..recommend you buy a few, one for each battery won't be far off.

When i'm on a glacier I've never measured (ridiculous I know)
