21.1, amazing.
Off grid.
3.9 kw solar panels
6 x solar collectors
40 kWh rolls batteries
Orligno wood gasification boiler

Why is my tarrif cap 100p then
Re: UK Wind Record
Still 21 GW on EnergyNumbers at 11pm and Gridwatch has been over 17 GW for the first time and has been for several hours now.
I note import has now dropped in response to falling demand but we seem not to have curtailment for a change.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

Re: UK Wind Record
Did we have a dodgy energy frequency experience on tues night?
(bear in mind my hearing is acute for a cerain range, deaf for others) ..was getting a mosquito type whine pitch (not an insect) from the mains, even the wife heard it when alerted to it despite dancing noisy dogs round our feet.
Proceeded to unplug things & it eventually faded out.

I can't see anything in the data.

I think the mains would have tripped, on low frequency, long before you would have noticed it?Mr Gus wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 2:37 am Did we have a dodgy energy frequency experience on tues night?

Brilliant.
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.

Re: UK Wind Record
wind over 50% avg for the 24hrs. At night we are net zero FF at times. I saw wind at 60% of production recently. Bodes well.

I was ready with a headtorch, but all was well, most unusual, was likely a full 60-90 seconds of the tone I heard upon wandering into the kitchen.Oliver90owner wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 9:42 amI think the mains would have tripped, on low frequency, long before you would have noticed it?Mr Gus wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 2:37 am Did we have a dodgy energy frequency experience on tues night?

Re: UK Wind Record
I used to hear / feel a very very low hum in our house about 7 years ago, but no one else could, except for one neighbour, but she couldn't hear it in our house. I had thought it was due to wind turbines but one day I could still hear it and every turbine around us was stationary. It then seemed to stop. In early 2020 I started hearing it again- I wasn't sure if it may have been related to an inflatable drain pug that exploded while I was down the manhole, sorry inspection chamber, though I only tend to hear it in certain places in the house. I now suffer from really loud tinnitus due to covid, but that is really high pitched, but I still hear this low pitched one in certain places. I have wondered if it's possibly mains, wifi or possibly due to the telecoms on an old water tower near us.Mr Gus wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 11:17 amI was ready with a headtorch, but all was well, most unusual, was likely a full 60-90 seconds of the tone I heard upon wandering into the kitchen.Oliver90owner wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 9:42 amI think the mains would have tripped, on low frequency, long before you would have noticed it?Mr Gus wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 2:37 am Did we have a dodgy energy frequency experience on tues night?

In my previous house their used to be a very fast flicker on the lights at certain times in the morning and no one else I knew could see that. The local DNO came round and installed a frequency recorder, but it was very basic and as I had said to them, it recorder nothing. They then came back with a laptop and left that set up for a week. Sure enough they could see it then. They did investigations in the village but found nothing. Eventually they came back six months later and said they had found the problem. Someone else had reported the same thing in another smaller village. When investigating there, they noticed one house with a Range that was the same as a Range they had seen in our village. They went to the manufactures and found the fault.
