You need to ask Ripple too! We may be influential, but we don't run it, even if we might like to think we do! ((Remember how it was suggested here that another turbine in a different part of the UK would be a good idea and then within days we heard that was exactly what they were doing?)
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

It was meant for Nowty to add to his list of potential future part owners of Ripple's next turbine/s, I've already paid Ripple £25.AE-NMidlands wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 8:41 amYou need to ask Ripple too! I guessed that, 'twas just another feeble attempt at a joke...
Good news anyway

Your added.
I suspect with the recent price of energy prices increases and the increased return on WT1 I think that most of the names on the list for WT1 will end up in the list for WT2.

Re: Part ownership of a Wind Turbine, fancy it?
I did post a question to ripple that they never answered. With the likelihood of there being 10 energy providers by next summer. What happens if the ones they have deals with come then are not one of the ten left standing.
Another they never answered last year is that whole sale prices when it is windy are getting lower and lower as more turbines are being built. I struggled to make the numbers at the time make sense.
When they do any press releases with amount of savings people make they seem quite careful to not give enough figures to be able to make a meaningful financial decision. Ie how much did the people in the tweets make in the year vs invested.
A very pessimistic post I know. But if you are not being led entirely by your heart it is nice to know about potential issues ahead.
And I have reserved a place.
