Additional Solar and Batteries.
Tinbum demonstrates his new system to the DNO............,

:D :D I'm keeping it totally off grid. If it needs a Grid charge, in the winter then this will be done using 48v chargers.

I currently have one of the Frankenstein style fuse disconnects between my pylontech stack and the inverter, and I'm planning to retain that for the DIY stack.
The question is, do I need a separate disconnect for the battery pack itself, similar to the disconnect Nowty had previously shown?
Up to you.

For my money you only need one disconnect to isolate the inverter for maintenance and to provide overcurrent protection in case a of fault within the inverter.

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)

I agree that only one isolator is required, but each DIY battery string should have its own series fuse.

My system is so large that I have 3 battery banks, each one has an isolator and fuse. But two of the battery banks have 5 parallel battery strings each, no isolator but each string has its own series fuse.

Below shows two battery banks of 5 strings each, one isolator for each bank.

Each battery string has a series fuse.

NOTE - All the smaller blue fuses on top are intercell connectors to help keep the cells balanced.
