SWMBO has already sourced and collected a secondhand pine chest of drawers. Told them both that everything that goes in the place comes from our house or secondhand. I like upcycling and they'll enjoy the challenge (he hoped).
There shall be an airfryer.
So SWMBO can take that as your house is gettng a significant makeover ?

I'm surprised, has no one asked if it has a wood stove, could have a wood stove, has a wood stove been ordered or no no to a wood stove?

Oh I know! Daughter has been working from home at our place since Saturday and twice they have actively ganged up on me. No respect!

Tomorrow we head up to Aiyden for No1 to have an unscheduled final eye test before lenses are ordered. While up there we'll plug the solar panel in and leave it charging a powerbank. If it works well we can maybe set one up in Edinburgh for daughter. She knows all the powerbills are on her and when we visit we shall be sponging.

Heard back from daughters Edinburgh firm solicitor (who operates out of Bulgaria). Closing date set for 13th Match. Conveyancing is ongoing. Hopefully, missives in about 10 days then it's locked in. Transferred the money last night to our operating account from my bed in Turkey. The Internet is truly a wonderful thing indeed.
Next up is a chat with the owners for available furniture in the place. Looking forward to seeing the place.
First order of business will be getting it onto then check all lights to be led.

Sadly all electric.
Probably for the best!
Bound to be a fireplace/existing chimney lurking behind some 70’s modernisation

Noooo! It's a flat... probably up some stairs... in the middle of a big city.
On the other hand, some batteries and a TOU tarrif might be a much better way to go.

Some of those have very high ceilings, you could almost fit an additional floor into some of them.
The first one was like that although a 2000 build but very much to the Georgian style. Daughter said after we didn't get it that the scale freaked her out a bit and might have been feart in a place that size.
