My system

Happy New year to All,

So I finally managed and remembered to take some pics of my system to share with everyone.

My system does not feed back to the grid and the house can be 100% off grid which I am hoping will happen as soon as the sun shines high enough in the sky because of restraints on location I couldn't have the right angle.for the winter

Still some things are a work in progress and a few things will be added:

New earth rod (this week)
A few east facing panels on my garage (not sure when)
More batteries!!!!!



The black squares on my inverter are my trial to do a bit of sound deadening, when it's at full power charging the batteries at night there is a pulsing vibration through the inverter and then my wall, I am trying different things but it seems it's the case so it may have to be taken apart and adjusted (at a later date)










Need to change the label for 300VDC danger

Thats what I was originally going to do in my garden but SWMBO would not let me.

Is the location reasonably sheltered ?

Yeah when it's windy it comes from the front of my house which blocks it to the back garden.
There could be a gale and you wouldn't even notice

I remember writing comments on this (as its an area of interest to me, it was at a time when I was pressing publish & lots of posts were going missing for some weeks, no wonder I couldn't find it again! ..something was iffy with the forum at that point, I was thinking I was jinxed it happened so often.
