Definitely a day of contrasts throughout the UK, I've passed the best daily generation of 2022 by some margin and there's still plenty of sun coming in.
Good to see the shading start to diminish, just a shame the upcoming weather looks a bit meh!

15.8kWh is the best day of 2023 to-date by a comfortable margin for me. These are tricky times because I daren't turn-down the overnight battery charging just yet!

Final number was 14.86kWh here, 9.01kWh from the garage array and the rest from the wall.

The last time the garage did that well, it was the very beginning of October. The spring solstice really is quite the turning point.
I'm looking forward to my first spring and summer with solar.

Superb day yesterday, 11.22kWh on the main and estimated another 3.5kWh off the mobile panels - end point was the batteries had a full charge which is a first time occurrence since November 2022, this was coupled with cooking all electric and running the tumble dryer for 3 hours.

Current SoC 63% Not bad for a system that just charges from the available solar electrons, I think the MASSIVE turning point for us this year has been the HP tumble dryer which we typically use 5 days out of 7. The fact that I can be charging the batteries and running the dryer is like science fiction, I still have to look at the electric meter to convince myself that its true.

Overcast and gusty here at present but the possibility of more sunny weather in a while before the snow slams us tomorrow - according to the weather report.

Got to bring the logs in later just to be ready.

Hope everyone has a good day today.

A better day today. 4.5kW peak. Tomorrow hopefully crack 5kW as panels now clear apart from one troublesome spot up top.

Everything has been on! Like an Octopus session but not having to pay.
