slightly weird one...
there used to be a guy called Pete on the navitron forum, he lived on an island off the top of Scotland, worked on ferry to/from the main land
he's completely off grid, built his down house and had a really good blog
(I met him for a pint once when he was in my area, really nice bloke too)
he broke up coloured glass and mixed it into his floor screed (above underfloor heating) and polished it
it looked awesome in the photos, I always fancied copying his idea... might soon have the chance
but.... I can't for the life of me find his blog, no idea how I lost the link
any ideas anyone?
