Would that be Angus from Aberdeen (genetically not physically) or was that his name? :D

No idea, the Dutch was tough, the Italian was tender but little taste.

But the Angus (wherever it was from) was OMG. It was well salted but I did have to ask for black pepper though. Some dogs going to be happy with the bone 🦴 I think.

We brought 6 Angus steaks with us this time in the backpack (2 down 4 to go). I've had them from one month to seven weeks air hung. Personally, somewhere about week 5, rib eye cut at 1 1/4" thick and medium is my happy place. :D

This was a gnarly rib eye my friendly butcher found for me.

Had it on Easter Saturday when the weather was perfect.

Tasty and tender - not Angus but excellent.

We were in Barcelona a few weeks back - superb meat. Galician Chuleton, €180 per Kg. Looked v good, though.

& considering the amount of decent properly aged steaks available in France in their meat caveau's is why I like to take my Sous vide abroad, what will cost us 40+ euro is better cooked by us to keep the price down compared to the same steak in a french restaurant that we wouldn't necessarily frequent, Savoie is not Paris admittedly but the few places that would do a properly aged steak is a pricey place we have never bothered with in 20 years, because 4 nights food for 3 eating TOO well as is ;)

I note GF's generation for the 20th has been updated to show a healty 26.43 kW's for the day inspite of maintenance checks that took place. Sadly nothing yet showing on our Dashboard for current generation or for the last two days. At least for now CF is above 30% for only the second time this month, not sure this will last long though as Robin Hawkes Renewables chart is showing a mere 4% down there at the mo. But a healthy return all the same for those of us onboard. :D

IF we cleared 42.2kWh at GF today that would be my first triple digit back to back day(s). :ugeek:

Gotta love this time of year!
Well the 20th was a 44.23kWh day at GF so that's my first back to back 100kWh day set. :ugeek:

Well it's been a cracking past 4 days for sunshine up here (today's completely overcast and cold though!) and like yourself Joe have managed a couple of back to back 100kWh days. 19th was 105.8kWh, 20th was 105.5kWh and waiting to see what GF's output was for the 21st, I need 15.5kWh from it to make it another 100kWh day. Just missed out on the 18th with 98kWh.
Mind you when KH and DW come on line, 100kWh days will become more frequent. :D
