Not quite, it got to just under 9.2GW today and now dropping, I think second highest this year after just under 9.3GW on 4th April. Record still 9.89GW on 22nd April 2021.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

Those clear, pollution-free lockdown skies of 2021 really did a lot of good for solar back then!

I do recall the chatter about ultra clear skys back then and the speculation of the reduced air pollution, I thought it was crazy talk back then but maybe the solar records don’t lie.

I've just noticed the 20th April 2023 day did get an upgrade to 9.83 GW so it did get very close to the all time high of 9.89 GW.

(nowtyrecord for searching)
I don't know when this was announced, but 20th April 2023 has had another retrospective solar upgrade to the point of a new record at 10.148 GW.

I think this was due to the lag in reporting of new installed capacity.

That's because of my company's new array - that's made all the difference!

Not so sure Dan, I recently put up two PTZ cameras so we can watch the kids outside and make sure they don't try opening the gate or climbing the wall next to the lane and the cameras both have 5W solar panels and I reckon they might have been the difference!

We try to be outside with them (the kids not the PTZ cameras :? ) but theirs always times where two are in one is out or vis a versa, plus it helps with saving the delivery drivers from being eaten by the five dogs (we lost our much loved elderly Black lab earlier in the year due to old age).
