"Parker" needs a service apparantly !?
Trouble is no available loaners, so tesla service is proposing a chauffeured ride back home!?
Wife not happy (not unreasonably) & will have to speak to an uman-bean tomorrow as she has no idea where she'll be & will likely need access to a supercharger (so a pre supercharger capable S like last time is not on either) if she's on the south coast again then would prefer something that isn't going to come unstuck with (no charger adapter supplied last time)
Anyone have experience of how amenable they are to shuffling appointments if you don't simply use the app & text to deal with things of this nature?

Re: 10,248 miles service TM3
I heard my cousin recently, who has a TM3 had to have their car in for a camera re-mount. They did not have any loaners either, so they sent her home and picked her up to reclaim the car in an Uber cab.
And we are talking about 50 miles each way, she was not a happy bunny but I don't know how long she was without her car for.

Re: 10,248 miles service TM3
Not an answer to your post BUT why does it need a service after "only" 10,248 miles? I thought one of the plus points to an EV was less servicing. A lot of new ICE cars on a long service interval/plan won't see a service bay for 20,000 miles (false economy I know, but it keeps the bean counters happy until they can flog the car onto an unsuspecting second owner after 3 or 4 years).
Re: 10,248 miles service TM3
Yeah, we are 50+ miles from the service centre each way (80+ minutes driving) also Nowty.
MM, I have no idea, will ask he wife to quiz the phone folk, the only thing I can think of is "tyre rotation" (but thats not an overly british thing) so I'm stumped, ..this detail is lacking in the app.

Re: 10,248 miles service TM3
UPDATE:
Well the wife is talking ollocks,
Context: I asked her if there was any in car info for why servicing was needed (before I asked here)
Now she says (after not listening 3 times this morning) that it is an ECORE E-call SOS system flagged up on screen.
Sometimes talking to my wife & daughter & getting sense out of either ((silent scream)) ..Grr!
Sorry folks for the confusion.
In the same TM3 vein, turning off my phone kept kicking me off the account & access to the car! (seems to have sorted itself, but be aware)
Wake up times seem bad compared to previous app incarnation, seems a rushed roll out.
Daughter still sticking with previous app for better stability.

Re: 10,248 miles service TM3
I had a minor issue last week which would have been very bad if I was not at home. I did not use the car for 1 or 2 days, so I am guessing it went to sleep or something. When I used the phone to get back into the car it let me get in but I could not drive anywhere without tapping one of the black cards on the centre console.
I know Tesla recommend not going out without one but I have, mainly local many times.

Nowty.
Put that lanyard to good use.
Buy that silicone cover I previously mentioned to you.
We opted for the red one so its pretty visible more or less everywhere (that deep, dark mary poppins type carpet bag handbag)
Whilst we all have the app, wife always has her lanyard key & tends to use that unless she's sticking heat / air con on remotely.

Hmm.

Looks simple enough to clear this error.. (if only wife would pick up the phone) & save an unnecessary trip (+ no mug & lanyard)
