Considerably cheaper than the 680W 2 panel offering from pluginsolar at €799 vs £1170.
The apartment above our ski school office had one of these (not Hofer) fitted last year.

It's not actually the ski school. We rent the downstairs of the building and there is a private apartment above, I think they are Germans who live here most of the year but our paths never cross. When I go to work they are already out and after work it's all about Apres Ski not chatting to upstairs neighbours

I have given some small thought to a grid tied micro inverter and a couple of panels maybe 250W to 350W each as a roaming Winter set. I have four easy access weather proof tie in point across the garden. Has anyone tried these grid tied microinverters out or similar?

Sorry to potentially lower the tone but I have a load of cable MC4's etc and can get 250W to 350W ex Commercial panels for not too much money. My main worry would be that my Solaredge inverter and potential how low can ye go grid tied inverter would fight each other in 1/10ths of Volts to see who can output or the grid tied would just lose and stall.

Anyone been here?

The air often isn't as clean as you would imagine. I live in a high valley off the Inn valley. The motorway in the Inn valley links Bavaira and on to Northern Europe with Italy via the Brenner Pass. In Austria the speed limit on motorways is 130 kmh, in the Inn valley they have what they call 'Tempo 100'. This is to reduce emissions from all of the lorries carrying goods both ways. As we have restrictions (Germany too) on HGV traffic on Sundays and Bank Holidays they have what they call 'block handling' of HGVs where they will only let a certain number of trucks per hour onto the motorway or it would stop running. The trucks and non local traffic are not allowed off the motorway onto the local road network for exactly the same reason.
When I am with clients on the mountain in winter particularly when air pressure is high you can often see the pollution hanging in the air in the Inn valley against the white of the snow.

That is sad to read, my personal fave memory was going up over the Tonale pass Italian side. Very quiet and very slow, all on my happy Led Zep playing lonesome.
