Nice work, with my office/workshop use you'd make that back in 2-3 months easy in saved leccy bills. And the planet takes a small sigh of relief.

In a frenzy of activity, got the panels in and knocked another shading tree back. Loads more trees to go but that's for another day.

Coffee break the noo then I really need a workshop tidy. I'll take a photo. In amongst that I'll hook up 2 of the enphase units and get them producing. :D

I repeat, I'll get them producing. .... Gotta live it!

Some luck with Customs...

This arrived, which is the gateway for the Hoymiles units with Sub 1Gz wifi

Image

Alas, the Hoymiles itself has been siting in UK Customs for almost a week now.

Dull overcast now after a great morning plus a monster tree in the way. :(

Yet, IT'S ALIVE!!!! :D
A full 1A per channel (ok 0.99A DC and at 27V). Yet it is producing.

The Hoymiles installer app does not work by changing the VPN to Holland for example as it still requires your GPS location.
No way to circumvent this. They will detect you are in the UK.

You have to be in a European country to set up the app :(
3kW FIT Solar
0.8kW balcony solar.
2,372 W of turbine at Whitelaw Brae
6kw Panasonic air to air heat pump for downstairs.
2 WBS. Stovax 8kw and 5kw Morso squirrel
Rointe D series in 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
Aiming to go fully electric....

I would love a shed that I could actually get in to and work without tripping over kids tractors, carriers trikes etc etc :D

Set up looks fine JB and the shed is tidy enough to be purposeful and not a show room!
