Autumn has definitely landed with a smack! Dreich weather here again today, hopefully this afternoon will brighten up as it did yesterday but the days are noticeably shorter now and the mercury is slowly dropping.

I've ordered in my first logs for the winter, I still have some left over from last season and some DIY procured bits but I will feel more prepared when the metal log store is full.

Ordered an replacement 47kG LPG as well - first one since April which is good considering DHW is all LPG heated - the vast majority of cooking since last March has been done via solar generated electric.

Don't worry JB those new panels will still get you some valuable free electrons.

I shall instead of enjoying production take joy in the visual of rain cascading off of them.

That Sunday temperature. :o
On the South Coast the forecast for Sun is 23 degrees and sunny, in fact there looks like another classic whole week of sun coming. 8-)

But I am currently in Preston sharing the northern gloom.

I’d forgotten what its like to wear a fleece and walk around with an umbrella.

All on the same island eh? it's still raining here. Full grey skies but birds are now tweeting so might be going off. Got half a kW coming in and the orange lights (production) are surprisingly on at Enphase powerhouse. A mighty 1A combined which I am pegging as 30W AC @ 230V. Hey, every little....

Classic FM is on & WBS is doing its thing at low, slow mode. If the home is geared right that 1/2 kW generation (+30W) can be strettcchheeeddddd nicely.

Happy days Moxi, I am in the best RE position of my life. As we used to say on the streets of Glasgow "come ahead if ye think yer hard enough.... Winter".

Can the GPS data be spoofed?

I tried this yesterday using a computer android emulator. The WiFi was set to Holland but was still unsuccessful.
It may have been the emulator I was using though.

I am asking a friend in Holland to see if he can set up the account on his phone for me when he gets back to land.
If this works ... jackpot.
He isn't back on land until tomorrow though

If this doesn't work, I will wait I til he goes over to Germany. I will get an answer ... just not yet.

It must be a combo of the tree felling reducing shade (much of which still present) but maybe also the input from the Enphase Powerhouse (sorry its named as that in my mind now, very sticky, can't get rid of it and tbh I like the name).

I swear I can see a bounciness in the SOC gains. Almost perky. Theoretically it was always going to happen but its come as a pleasant surprise to see the result. 8-) :o

FTB, if your pal in Holland can set up an account why not ask him to or you liaise with Tay for his email address and set up accounts for both of you. Can update system details later?

I like these moments. :D

Excellent news. I am noting down my log in details and they are going in the solar folder. Phones break, get lost etc.

Meter arrived. Mostly together and a quick end of day test before finishing tomorrow. Happy with the meter, it may take a while to make the first 1kWh.
