Musxan develops CCS conversion for Nissan Leaf/NV200

Just seen this over on Twitter - the Dutch EV conversion specialists Muxsan, who have already developed the Nissan Leaf battery capacity upgrade swap are now offering a CCS rapid charging conversion.

This version has the 62kWh Leaf battery and is charging at 91kW on CCS. Their conversion apparently also retains the ChaDeMo capability as well.

Apparently €2500 for the conversion kit.

Won’t that simply aggravate the thermal problems related to charging the leaf battery (due to no active cooling)? OK for isolated rapid charges (as a local run-around) but not for a long continuous journey?

It will certainly help as chademo slowly disappears from charging stations.

Muxsan (I’ve only come across them regarding Leaf battery improvements) seems a innovative company who must surely expand/diversify as Leafs become cheaper, initially, and then out of favour?

Love the leaf, great showcase for EV uptake, but to this day cannot understand why they did what they did to lose their early lead as a New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand, pitiful.

Will watch the results of the upgrade with interest.
