I really like that!!

Thank you, it was the fundamental decision maker in my cancellation of a Tesla Y. I was not willing to accept being told what I could and couldn't do with my owned battery storage.

Not to say I might not fancy a classic model S at some point if the charging goes with it and the price is right.

The extra 'home' storage capacity is great but freeing up all the actual home battery discharge rate to home applications is better. It was perfect today. SWMBO vould do all the stuff she wanted and I was happy as we didn't touch grid.

I did a large batch of chicken balti on the WBS yesterday. Me n SWMBO are off to Turkey in a couple of days so doing a go forward cook for No1 son. Home grown tatties, chopped par boiled and added to the curry along with lentils too.

Tried a new thing for us. Hard boiled a half dozen eggs and they are now hopefully infusing directly.

Optimistic for a visible colour change.

Managed to neaten up an idea from last week on log storage. Logs are air gapped from walls. I don't think I can claim added insulation? Looks OK though for a store until Feb or so when i'll split & stack to rebuild a depleted woodstores contents.

A pleasant morning at daughterlys yesterday. Added 1mm insulation strips to all window edges. Immediate cessation of external sound. Should be better heat traps now. Also did the front door to communal indoor area.

This place was built well, getting away with just the bathroom towel rail to heat the whole place. Dehumidifier on timed plug to run 09.00 to 17.00 hrs now too. 150W unit set to kick in and out rather than continuous running. It also helps that it is surrounded on 3 sides by other apartments.

Hoping she can get into that but fear there may be backsliding to windows open Arctic blast mode!.

One more 6W ES bulb into a standing lamp and that's the whole place lighted for pennies.

Got a slight water leak in ceiling space from ensuite to main bathroom plumbing. Phoned insurance and its £750 excess so I'll get into that job once back from Turkey.

First shall be holesaw and endoscopic camera.

Storm hasn't arrived yet although wind is picking up a little. A nice morning for the walk to tram.

SWMBO is talking about recarpeting the place as a Christmas present.
