The session shows 17:30 to 18:30 tomorrow on my Octopus account.

I checked the DFS utilisation reports and Octopus are 17:30 to 18:30, but if your with some other providers like British Gas its 17:00 to 18:00.

So check you've all got the time right for your DFS provider.

Question for those paying more attention to this than I am: What is the benefit, over and above the export rate, for exporting electricity during the saving session period?
Solar PV: 6.4kW solar PV (Eurener MEPV 400W*16)
PV Inverter: Solis 6kW inverter
Batteries: 14.4kWh LiFePO4 batteries (Pylontech US5000*3)
Battery Inverter: LuxPowertek 3600 ACS*2 battery inverter
WBS: 8kW Hunter Avalon 6 Multifuel burner (wood only)

Depends on your provider but its £2.25 per kWh with Octopus, the providers will be paid £3 per kWh.

And there is a spot prize, last year there were also extra bonus points for opting in on consecutive sessions.

£2.25 per kWh !!! Almost worth me dumping some battery to the grid, albeit on a day where PV generation will be very low. . . . maybe recharge on overnight Low period (Flux).

Apart from Nowty's post above I can't find any info about "Export during a Saving Session" on the Octopus website. Has anyone found any such info ?
EDIT :
Apart from :-
17. If you also have an export meter associated with your import meter signed up to the Saving Sessions, you will be credited on your net reduction (import - export), in line with the ESO Demand Flexibility Service specifications.

PS. As I normally import near zero electricity I can't SAVE anything during a session.
4 kWp Solar PV : 50%/50% SE/SW : Solis Hybrid 3.6 : Pylontec 9.6 kWh
5 Kwh Air-to-Air Mitsubishi Heat Pump : single-split
Jotul 602 wood-burner ( 2012 )
Ripple : Graig Fatha & Kirk Hill . . . . plus various other renewable projects.

Oh my, so it's simply better to turn everything off, force discharge at 100% for the hour, and then just use the grid? Wow. I might make £15 from that single hour.

Right, I’ve opted in. My first one. How do you find out how much electric Octopus calculate you “usually” use in this slot?

I’m actually confident mine will be non-zero ‘cos Octopus has been giving me extra IO slots at inexplicable times recently…
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
