Had no info from Good Energy.

What is Baseline. Is it Day and Night rate. ?

If my Baseline is 0 and my Imported is 0

Am i going to get anything. ???? :FP:

How does it work.
Assuming you don’t have an export tariff, baseline for the last session was your average import for the past 10 working days between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Your supplier will be paid £3 for each kWh you saved during the session. What you get is up to your supplier, Octopus gave £2.25 per kWh for the last session.
"

Thanks for that.

If my Baseline is 0 and my Imported is 0

Im not going to get any thing.
At least I wont have to walk to the garage to flick the switch over any more. :whako:

Looks like me sitting in the Tesla playing Vampire Survivors for an hour saved me £0.17. So I'm up to a grand total of £1 of savings so far.

But also, the Octopus Saver Calculator has more info in it now shows you the baseline data used to calculate your savings for each session as well which is really good actually.

I saw the additional features. It really makes clear how the baselines are calculated!

I'm tempted to game some early-evening cheap slots and do a bit of "rinsing" from time to time in anticipation...
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

So bewildered that this chap can make this website to show your savings data basically immediately, and yet the official Octopus page is still "calculating"

Octopus' user interface has always been garbage! Try finding Tracker prices. Try finding what cheap slots you got on IOG yesterday. They have the information they just don't display it.

Other suppliers are quick to tell their users how much they got in these events. Octopus' tech has always been shite. Their tariffs are innovative and their marketing is slick, but the tech never has kept up.

Points for the 29th November savings session are in my octopus account, exactly as the link earlier in the thread predicted :)

Octopus has more than one million customer participating, thats a lot of numbers to crunch, but I agree they need a more powerful computer!

Check if you've received an email from octopus tonight 6:40pm for me) - this confirms the savings made for the 29th & 1st combined, but the 1st results aren't live on the app yet (probably tomorrow).
