Offshore is coming with Energy4All via Falck Renewables / Blue Float Energy with Scotwind but it’s about 2028’ish.
https://energy4all.co.uk/e4a-news/succe ... twind-bid/

Ripple was going for it too, but backed the wrong horse as NextGen did not win any of the bids.

But offshore is high cost, high maintenance and a CFD contract so no megabucks if energy prices increase.

GF, KH and even DW Solar Park may be better value.

Doing it for the V enamel offshore badge. :D

Although the NI WT turbine upgrade on existing infrastructure is the way to go for this round and farms in general nearing end of life.. Defo getting involved in that once it opens to investors.

Had to have a talk with myself yesterday to not invest in the Dundee Solar project. I've got enough Solar on the go.

GF has had a bit of a rest for the past 3 days but Its a good sunny day here with reasonable solar coming in. But at this time of year more than half my system is shaded and only comes out in mid Feb.

I'm currently generating 3.3kW with a 13kW system, but the main 4kW unshaded roof is generating 2.4kW of that. I was thinking if the DW solar farm is operational by this time next year, thats another 4.5kW of unshaded generation for me, so maybe another live 2.7kW to add on in the sunshine next January.

The re-opened DW offer is now closed again so I hope we soon hear about the final financial closure. Anyone fessing up to buying more of DW, or converting their P4 registration into a DW share ?

The only person I know so far is my brother.

I choose not to invest more solely for the reason of 3 payments required and not able to spread the cost throughout the year as before.

I chose not to invest or encourage the kids due to the ongoing 120% limit and being honest I didn't like the relaunch of a previously closed investment. 🤔

I don't like the feeling that we're being gamed to suit their agenda and make their life easier. A very personal view not founded in pragmatism in any form. :D

That's GF paid back 50% of our original investment. This photo up on Ripple community page.

Considering the first generation of power is graphed at 8th March 2022 I find this to be absolutely astonishing. :o

From earlier in Dec.
The game is name the roi figure for Graig Fatha to a single decimal point for midnight on 28th Feb 2024. In addition and at no extra cost, have a crack at guessing the next years per kWh figure paid by Octopus on Graig Fatha for the year commencing 1st March 2024. You don't have to own any of it to play.

Competition is open until midnight on the 31st Dec 23. Prize is Kudos and a pint in Ayeshire at KH open day.

John S 52.8% and 6p
Joeboy 53.0% and 11.8p

Although to be fair, some of what we read on the internet is bollocks.

At 16.57hrs this evening the take on GF stands at 48.73893%.
I know, I got the calculator out and went month to month. :hysteria:

I agree, my figure (maybe from an hour or two earlier) said 48.50%. Good to hear, all the same.
