Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
Following on from my recent DC isolator replacement, I bought another as they seem to have a new design. They are only £10 a pop including delivery from China (alliexpress) and I received it in less than 1 week, I don't understand how this is even possible.
This one easily comes apart I am very impressed, heavy ceramic body with a thick copper conductor bar and nice flat stud surface, and this time M10 brass nuts. Also has a rubber gaskets to keep it airtight.
I have not used it yet but looks like a better design and a cheaper price.

Ref. Mr Nowty “ , I don't understand how this is even possible. “
Its quite straight forward tooo Understand.
Dynamo the magician gets all the bits already assembled from various other planets with no costs involved and gets them delivered to Planet Earth .
We have to pay various shipping. Taxes in this World.

Brass nuts this time too! (Or are they brass-plated?).

5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Proper brass as I took a file to one to check.

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
I always do my spins for the old/conventional meters, and have never had a single success! It will be interesting to see if that changes when we get our smart meter (s?) in the new year... (and how you do it!)
Maybe it's my fault for submitting my readings within 24hrs of the month end?

Perhaps they just can't believe the size of your numbers? It must be a high-risk account (for them) either if a regulator should want to do an audit or if they need to demonstrate an understanding what customers are doing. Not many people have enormous account balances, even if they do draw them down! (The VB concept would probably be beyond the understanding of most people.)
(but I do have another friend whose supplier wants to put him on £2 per month, but he likes his 2% cashback so keeps on paying £100 or whatever he owes, taking regular lumps out...)

Uh oh. I've just started the whole export process pulling out of my FIT. Let us know how it goes please. Hopefully nothing to see here.
Hopefully you have lots of screenshots etc. The words 'your balance may be incorrect' as we make changes is a bit dodgy.
